The Nook while considered a good E reader is expensive especially compared to the Kindle and its recent price drops. The Nook does offer some benefits that the Kindle does not such as being able to locally have the machine fixed at a Barnes and Noble store and the ability to read book for free at the same store. Otherwise the Kindle is superior .Here are the reasons why the Kindle is superior. Their mid level machine for example has Wi-Fi available along with text to speech. The E-ink screen has the ability to be read in any lighting condition. The Kindle is light and compact. The Kindle also comes with internet capability.
