The battle has begun, printed books are out and the Nook and Kindle are in, but which one is going to bring you more bang for your buck?
If you are looking for using you’re e reader simply to read and want the maximum comfort in the process then the Kindle would be a great choice because the colors stand out and won’t hurt your eyes after long hours and the battery life is outstanding. If you are reading outside the Kindle is also the best choice but if you are reading in the dark it’s back to the Nook.
Now the extra’s is were it gets a bit tricky, the Nook was the first with browser compability but the newer Kindle now offers a browser as well. The deciding factor would be the color in the Nook, you can download pictures and have the full color and beauty of whats being displayed. For convience in carrying the Nook is heavier and wider and the Kindle is sleeker making it easier to transport.
Both e readers will let you transfer books between them but the Nook will let you download books of the web and library books as well when the Kindle only allows you to buy from the Amazon store which leaves you with less options.
Ultimately, even down to the price the Nook is more going for 249 but even at its price the fact that the customer can download library books and straight of the internet makes up for the price. The Kindle has more options ranging from 79 to 199.
When it comes down to value the Nook wins, but thats all up to perception and what you’re looking for.
